Intake
The Intake Process is the first step in the journey together. During this 2-hour session, Christi will get to know you, discuss your specific needs, and explore how she can best support you or your loved one during this sacred time. This is a deeply personalized conversation where Christi will: Review your current situation and assess needs. Explore end-of-life preferences: including emotional, spiritual, and practical considerations. Identify areas for support: including vigil support, emotional and spiritual guidance, legacy projects, and family communication. Create a personalized care plan: that ensures your wishes and needs are honored throughout this process. This initial meeting lays the foundation for the work together, helping to establish trust and clarity. It’s an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about death doula services and ensure that you feel supported moving forward. $185 for a 2-hour session. Includes: A follow-up email summary and resources to support your journey.
Support Service's
Support sessions are tailored to your unique needs and will draw upon the foundation established during the intake process. Read More This time may include: Emotional & Spiritual Support through open dialogue to address fears, grief and anxieties for you or your family. Personalized End-of-Life Planning that honors the person's dying wishes and values. She will help develop a customized plan that includes making arrangements, ensuring everything is in place, and that difficult conversations take place. Sitting Vigil with a calming presence providing the dying person and the family with loving support and guidance. She is also available to help with after-death arrangements. Advance Care Planning providing resources for the future with clarity and peace of mind. Legacy and Memory Creation whether through storytelling, memory-making, or writing letters, to honor your life journey. Holistic and Integrative Practices with a variety of alternative therapies to promote relaxation, healing, and connection during the end-of-life process such as - guided meditation to ease anxiety and promote peace, sound healing to bring comfort and harmony, and energy work such as a limpia to clear negative emotions and energy. These sessions are flexible and responsive to where you are emotionally and spiritually. 1 hour block - $100 3 hour block - $300 6 hour block - $575 12 hour block - $1,150 Includes: An email follow-up with resources and or suggestions.
Child-Focused
While Christi works with an open heart with individuals of all ages, she brings special passion and compassion for working with children and their families. The loss of a child is one of the most painful experiences a parent can endure and the impact on other children in the family is often deeply traumatic. Kids have so much wisdom to share and in this context, Christi shares with the parents and siblings ways to create and hold a sacred memory of the child after they pass. She holds that a life lived has a heartfelt impact on loved ones, whether it was for 9 years or 90 years. She offers specialized care for children and families, offering age-appropriate guidance and support as they (and their siblings where applicable) navigate the end-of-life journey. Emotional Support for Children and Siblings: Helping children (and their siblings) understand death and process their emotions with gentle, age-appropriate language and activities. Family Memory Projects: Creating keepsakes or legacy projects that allow children to leave their unique mark, bringing comfort to their families in the future.
